Transforming this apartment into a serene and intimate sanctuary was an inspiring journey that allowed us to blend thoughtful design with our clients’ vision of a home filled with timeless and high-quality pieces. They sought a space that reflected the unique style of our studio—an understated elegance rooted in warmth, simplicity, and an appreciation for harmonious details. The result is a carefully curated retreat that speaks to both their lifestyle and aesthetic preferences.

From the beginning, the clients expressed a deep appreciation for Nordic-inspired interiors and design brands. Their desire for a cozy, minimalist space led us to select iconic and refined furniture pieces that balanced functionality with artistry. At the heart of the design is the iconic Pacha Lounge Chair by Gubi, a sculptural yet inviting piece that set the tone for the apartment. In the dining area, we chose the N–DT01 dining table by Norm Architects for Karimoku—a striking example of Japanese craftsmanship and Danish simplicity. This was paired with Bolia chairs, which brought softness and subtle texture to the overall composition. Adding to the layered design was the elegant A-B01 bench by Keiji Ashizawa, a favorite designer of ours known for his impeccable attention to materials and detail.

One of the significant challenges we faced was the limited natural light in the apartment. To address this, we focused on selecting lighting solutions that would not only illuminate the space but also enhance its inviting and tranquil atmosphere. Thoughtful placement of warm-toned fixtures created a soft glow that brought the rooms to life, even on the cloudiest days.

The material palette was another key element in achieving the desired ambiance. Natural materials such as wood, stone, and linen played a central role in adding texture, warmth, and a sense of timelessness to the design. The choice of linen drapery introduced an understated elegance while enhancing the overall coziness of the apartment.

Initially, the bathrooms were not included in the renovation plan due to budget constraints. However, we were able to guide the clients toward prioritizing high-quality finishes that would stand the test of time. By incorporating durable materials and thoughtful design into these spaces, the bathrooms became a seamless extension of the apartment’s aesthetic and functionality.

This project reflects the core of our studio’s philosophy: creating spaces that balance beauty and practicality while honoring the individual needs and preferences of our clients. The finished apartment is a tranquil haven that exceeds expectations—a place where carefully chosen details and timeless design come together to create a home that feels uniquely personal yet universally inviting.

We are proud to have been a part of this transformation and grateful for the trust our clients placed in us to bring their vision to life.
